Bottle Tree Park

We celebrated my uncle’s birthday today - Not really a celebration, just had a simple dinner with him and his family at Bottle Tree Park!

(It was too dark to take photos of their sign, so I took these 2 photos from their website)

Bottle Tree Park
81 Lorong Chencharu
Singapore 769198

Bottle Tree Park is definitely more accessible than Bottle Tree Village which is located at Sembawang area and is rather hidden away from the main road (the road leading to it is dark and narrow). For those who are interested in going to Bottle Tree Park, below are the directions provided on their website.

MRT: Take the North-South Line and alight at Khatib MRT station. It is a 15-minute walk to Bottle Tree Park’s side entrance opposite Yishun Stadium.

CAR: Exit from SLE (Yishun). From Lentor Avenue, turn left into Yishun Avenue 1. At the traffic light, turn right towards Sembawang Road. Keep right, then turn into Lorong Chencharu. (Opposite Sembawang Country Club and Airbase.)

BUS: Alight at Yishun Avenue 2, opposite Yishun Stadium. Services 39, 85, 851, 852, 853, 854, 855, 857, 858, 965 and 969 stop there.

Anyway, Bottle Tree Park is the second Bottle Tree outlet opened by Bottle Tree Pte Ltd. This 7ha park took 2.5 years to build from scratch. What used to be forest and scrubs is now transformed into a beautiful serene sanctuary boasting a restaurant, a pond, kampung-style buildings, mini-zoo, basketball and volleyball courts, an obstacle course, a paintball field and more!

That's my cousin - Quite obvious that she was forced into taking photo with me?

Since it was a Monday evening, the place was not very crowded so our food did not take too long to be served.

These are the dishes we ordered.

Chilli Crab with Deep Fried Bun
Red Garoupa
Butter Prawn
Tofu in Minced Meat Sauce
Sea Cucumber with Fish Maw
Vegetable
Longevity Noodle
Fried Rice

In a gist, the food was nothing spectacular but not too bad either. I just felt that it was a little overpriced? Not sure lah, maybe I am just too used to cheap seafood in JB.
