Congratulations, Valerie & Eugene! Uncle wanted to treat us to lunch since it is his actual birthday today, so Maggie Jie chose 鼎泰丰. Luffs and Harald did not join us because they were working, so it's only the 4 of us! Din Tai Fung 鼎泰丰 9 Bishan Place #01-41 Junction 8 Tel: 6356 5228 The chicken soup + noodles is for Uncle. The soup was really good! No wonder it is one of their chef recommendations. Mum, Maggie Jie and I shared the fried rice and 炸酱面 which were nice too.  It's the second time I am eating 小笼包 in 3 days! The rest of the Sunday was spent resting at home before Luffs and I headed to Grand Hyatt to attend Valerie and Eugene's wedding banquet. Valerie was my Primary School friend. Dishes served at the banquet! Did anyone realise from the photos that it was a vegetarian wedding dinner? Yes, Valerie is a vegetarian and I guess that is how she maintains her figure. Everyone at the dinner would agree with me that Valerie has a very lovely smile. Eugene is one lucky man to have marry her! She is smiling so sweely throughout the whole dinner that I cannot stop looking at her. |
