Family Outing @ Sentosa Maggie Jie and I have been wanting to arrange a Sentosa trip but did not get to do it because everyone was busy. And we finally did so today after 6 months! The main purpose of visiting Sentosa was to go to the Underwater World, the Dolphin Lagoon and the Luge. Maggie Jie got the tickets ($6 each) from work, so we got to enjoy ourselves at a cheaper cost. Who say Underwater World is boring and not worth the money? We all had great fun!     Look at the photos below - Luffs never fail to bring a smile to our faces whenever he is around. That's us beneath the Critters of the Deep! Next was the Dolphin Lagoon! I took this photo at the beach tram stop - Isn't it cute? Look at the Crocs family! Went into the Oscar shop while heading to the Luge. At last! The highlight of the day - LUGE! I always have something for cardigans especially long ones like the one shown above. This piece is made from thin cotton jersey material, so it would not be too warm for the weather in Singapore. What's more? It can be worn 2 ways for 2 entirely different looks. It comes in 2 easy-to-match colours (black and white) but of course I will go for black! Father's Day Dinner We had our Father's Day dinner earlier this evening at The Arch Restaurant! This place was chosen after reading some good reviews and I am glad we made the right choice. The Arch Restaurant 32 Seah Street Tel: 6837 3132 Its glass door / windows will make one believe that the restaurant is serving Western food rather than Nyonya dishes. The only indication that this is a Peranakan restaurant is probably the menu outside the shop.
We took some photographs before the food was served. Lingz and Mum Happy Family Photo Uncle and His Sister (Luff's Mum) My Parents and Mum-In-Law Finally the food was served! Hgor Hiang Roll - $8.80 Laksa Goreng - $12.80 (Must Try!) Babi Pong Tey - $12.00 X 2 Nonya Chap Chye - $8.50 X 2 Sotong Hitam - $12.80 Curry Fish Head - $26.80 Hae Cho Roll - $12.00 Shouyu Limau Chicken - $12.80 Some of the dishes had really small portions, so we ordered two servings. But overall, the prices were pretty reasonable for their standard of food and their level of service.
