Luffs' Virgin Post

Hello all!

This is definitely my virgin post in both mine and Lingz' blog (Hurray!). Well, I don't really have a lot to tell you guys but perhaps I'll just share my most recent occurrences since 01/01/09.

06/01/09.

I've always wanted to wake up to catch the sunrise but somehow, I would always be too lazy to pull my big bum off my bed. Well, I finally done it. Damn, it was hard but still I managed to drag myself out of bed at 5.30am, shower and got all prepared to head out to take my first ever sunrise (the sun was supposed to rise at 7.10am that day). Kor Kor Nick was there to accompany me as he was quite interested in the pictures that I took. As we waited and waited by the water-breaker, my first sunrise looked gleem as there was simply just too cloudy.

7am
, there was still no sign of a rising sun but the day seems slightly brighter, and at that moment, I felt that well, my first sunrise isn't gonna be what I had expected.

7.10am, brighter but yet, I don't see no sun, disappointment soon sat in. As I was just about to pack up and leave the location about 7.20am, the sun (what I woke up early for) rose at such speed that I scrambled to mount my camera back on my tripod. From then on, my snapping frenzy commenced. It was definitely well worth the effort. Below is the moment captured that very morning.

08/01/09.

After taking my exams on 13/12/08, I practically live in jitters all the time as I was afraid that I wouldn't make it for this exam AGAIN! But on this very day, I thought to myself, "haiya, just go into the student portal and have a look". Though it took like about 3-5secs to load into that particular page, I was like crossing my fingers, closed my eyes, kept on repeating "PASS, PASS, PASS, PASS, PASS", afterwhich, I slowly peeked open my eyes and saw (63 / Credit
) - I was like WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!! I can finally graduate!!! WOOHOOO!!! And the first person to hear this news from me was none other then my lovely wife Lingz. (Thank you dear for your support all these while!). After 2 years plus of running this rat race, I've finally reached the finishing line. It's a real awesome feeling.

10/01/09.

Just a query, what do you call your most loved person? For me, on this very day, I gave my wife this callout name (
贝 / Bei Baby) and she replied by calling me ( 陈 / Chen Baby). By giving each other calling names, it's really definitely one way to keep a relationship interesting (in my perspective).

I love you my
贝 Baby!

Guess that's about all I have to say now. As for what I'm be doing nowadays, other than job search, I virtually spend my time exploring the corners of Singapore, trying to capture things that are uniquely Singapore. On top of that, I also spend some time in the afternoons or night catching HKG Dramas on cable TV. (Haha!) That's all about what I do lately. To sign off, I'll say that photography is a hobby that is able to bring you to places you've never thought about going and to see things you'd never imagine you'd see. Photography brings a sight of creativeness into every little things we see and touch and it definitely bridges any forms of cultural or social gaps.

That's all for me. Will try to post again soon. Thanks all for reading!

Cheers!
